Prize is 50% of total ticket value sold for todays race.

Race Day 50/50 Raffles – Rule of Play
• There will be one 50/50 raffle held at each race (current race schedule is – May 18, June 7, June 22, July 8, July 20, July 21, August 10, August 16, August 23 and September 14).
• Tickets will be sold for the duration of the event and the winner will be announced before the start of the final races. Race Event time from 6pm. Draw made just after half time or event intermission (Approximately 8pm-8:30pm).
• Draw May 18 will be sponsored by The Bigs Family. Guaranteed $3500.00 prize. Not seed money but they will payout the difference on 50 percent of total sales if sales less than $7000.00.
• The racetrack uses random number generator computer system to print off tickets and to select the winning ticket.
• Ticket prices are as follows – 1/$5, 3/$10, 10/$20 and 40/$50.
• Members of the organization may not participate and ticket purchasers must be over the age of 18.
• Number of tickets sold over term of license 44000.
• Total max prize money over term of license $27,500 and total sales $55,000.00.
• The winner must bring their winning ticket to the office to be claimed. The winning ticket is verified to the report. The person with the winning ticket must complete a form (name, address, phone number, date) before the cheque is awarded. They must surrender the winning ticket, which is stapled to the completed forms. A cheque is issued for 50% of the money collected at that event.
• Timeframe – The winner has 90 days to claim their prize. The ticket must still be legible in order to claim their prize. After the 90 days passes the prize can no longer be claimed.
• Unclaimed prizes – unclaimed 50/50 cash prizes will be donated to charities if they have not been claimed within the 90 daystimeframe of the prize draw. The charities will be voted on by the Board of Directors at the regular scheduled monthly Board meetings. Once the board has voted on and selected charities,we will contact SLGA for approval of these donations to charities. If SLGA does not for some reason approve these charities we will go back to the Board for another vote on different charities.
