• In Late Models Aaron Turnbull is beating his younger brother, Tyson by only 11 points.  Tyson needs to get twelve more points than Aaron in total on Saturday (which is possible because WISSOTA gives points for heat races) and there’s an extra point bonus for finishing first in a feature.
• Stock Car Division is the closest currently with Jordan Durward and Austin Daae tied for first, but Joren Boyce simply needs to place four positions higher than both to win it.
• Modifieds have Steven Pfeifer seven points ahead of Travis Hagen.  Hagen needs to finish eight positions higher than Steven in order to win season championship.
• In the Weatherford Hobby Stocks, Leevi Runge has a 20 point lead over Riley Raynard, but you never know what Saturday will bring!

The Estevan Motor Speedway is now accepting nominations for our 2015 Hall of Fame. This worthy person will be recognized at our Annual Awards Banquet on Nov 7 and will forever be a part of our speedway’s history. At last Saturday’s race, our race day sponsors Chamney Trucking were set up after the gates with a raffle draw for a wonderful prize pack including a chair, cooler, BBQ set, and a go cup! The winner hasn’t claimed their prize yet, so check your pockets (before you do laundry).

General Meetings for the Estevan Motor Speedway are open to the public and everyone is welcome. Our next General Meeting will be tomorrow, Monday Aug 15 @ 7:30pm at the Days Inn Estevan. See you there!

The kids club Box Car races are BACK! They are set to race Aug 29 during our Championship Night, so get out your scissors, tape, glue… you name it!  So if you have a child between the ages of 2-12, get them showing off their crafty skills, put on their runners, and get them racing!
