It’s an exciting race in all three IMCA classes for the Track Championship! In the High Energy Performance Hobby Stock Division, it’s all or nothing!
1 point. That is all that separates these two young racing super stars. Zach Lutz holds the slight advantage over rookie sensation Devon Gonas. Zach’s 302 points comes on the backbone of three feature wins and 8 top 10s in 9 starts. Devon has put up 301 points in 9 starts with 9 top 10s, and 2 feature wins. Landon Runge rounds out the top 3 trailing by 14 points sitting at 288.

The Energy Electric IMCA Stock Car Division is close as well! Only 26 points separating first and fifth place! Ā It’s really anyone’s race! With 9 top 10’s in 2017, the favourite to win is localĀ driver Gregg Mann – who hasn’t won a track championship since 2013. Austin Daae has won twice at home, and trails top spot by only 10 points. Chris Hortness, also winning twice on the home track, trails by 23 points. Defending track champ Jeremy Swanson sits in 4th with 321 points.

The Kendall’s Supply IMCA Modified Division isĀ also a tight race with seasoned driver Joey Galloway in top spot. Galloway has not won a track championship at Estevan Motor Speedway. Young driver Riley Emmel has had a spectacular year taking home a win and 9 top 10 finishes! Not since 2008 has an Emmel landed a track championship. Defending track champ Kody Scholpp is in good position to provide the upset – only trailing Joey Galloway by 15 points.
